0 – zero is not a quantity. it is a function. it represents process – uniqueness & change – flux.

1 – numbers do not define quantities, they describe relationships. one is the self-referential void. in conjunction with the zero it generates the discontinuous continuum.

2 – two is the emblem of history – dialectical reproduction – the desire for straight lines between mirages.

3 – three is solitude – triangular stasis, yearning. it is the number of sisyphus, & also the number of lies concerning sisyphus.

4 – four is the sign of materiality – the quaternity – despair, greed, myopia & violence.

5 – five is the quincunx, the palpable fiction of time. it is the stable site of the silent image, the word in exile, the burials of bodies in their chosen materials.

6 – six is the mysterium conjunctionis, the perilous experiment of the body – the union of the triangles – transformation & annihilation. it is the self as no-self. it is the phase transition of the word.

7 – seven is the triangle caged in the quaternity – violent despair as ideology – consciousness possessed by its possessions.

8 – eight is the double quaternity – where the map of consciousness is identical to the territory of materiality. it is information as religion and surveillance as metaphysics. utter
annihilation is the only exit from the eight.

9 – nine is the quincunx mapped across the quaternity – the inevitable excess of mapping. the inappropriate map is the perfect instrument of transformation. anarchy & chaos deconstruct the fiction of time. nine is the number of the perfect prison – as such it contains the lessons necessary for escape.

0 – zero is geen kwantiteit. het is een functie. het stelt een proces voor, uniciteit en verandering – flux.

1 – getallen definiëren geen hoeveelheden, ze beschrijven relaties. een is de naar zichzelf referentiërende leegte. in verbinding met de nul genereert de een het discontinue continuüm.

2 – twee is het embleem van de geschiedenis – dialectische reproductie – het verlangen naar rechte lijnen tussen begoochelingen.

3 – drie is eenzaamheid – trigonale stasis, hunkering. het is het getal van sisyfus, & ook het aantal leugens betreffende sisyfus.

4 – vier is het teken van materialiteit – de viereenheid – wanhoop, hebzucht, kortzichtigheid & geweld

5 – vijf is de quincunx, de tastbare fictie van de tijd. het is de stabiele plek van het stille beeld, het woord in ballingschap, de begrafenis van lichamen in hun verkozen materiaal.

6 – zes is het mysterium coniunctis, het hachelijk experiment van het lichaam – de unie van driehoeken – transformatie en annihilatie. het is het zelf als niet-zelf. het is de fasetransitie van het woord.

7 – zeven is de driehoek gevangen in het viertal – gewelddadige wanhoop als ideologie – bewustzijn bezeten door zijn bezit.

8 – acht is het dubbele viertal – waar de kaart van het bewustzijn identiek is met het territorium van de materie. het is informatie als religie en bewaking als metafysica. algehele annihilatie is de enige exit uit de acht.

9 – negen is de quincunx gekarteerd op het viertal – het onvermijdelijke teveel aan kartering, de ontoereikende kaart is het perfecte instrument van transformatie. anarchie & chaos deconstrueren de fictie van de tijd. negen is het getal van de perfecte gevangenis – als dusdanig bevat het de lessen benodigd om te kunnen ontsnappen.
